FarmAssist Portal


When using the FarmAssist service, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Any dispute connected to the use of the site or associated data or information is governed by English and Welsh law.

Liability of use

NMR will at all times use as far as is reasonably possible, its professional knowledge and judgement to ensure content of this service is accurate and all such information is given in good faith. NMR does not provide any warranty connected to the accuracy of data or statements made in FarmAssist and may not be held liable for any losses arising from the use of such data or information.

Nothing in these Conditions excludes or limits NMR’s liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by NMR’s negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability which cannot be legally excluded or limited.

Subject to the Condition above NMR is not liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation or otherwise in connection with the Contract for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings, in each case whether direct or indirect, or for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, howsoever arising.

Warranty for FarmAssist service

The reports on the FarmAssist Portal have been prepared with all reasonable care and attention. The data is intended and expected to be a complete and accurate record to reflect medicines dispensed from veterinary practices. However, no warranty of accuracy or reliability of the information is given, and NMR will not be held liable for any loss arising from the use of data and information in these reports.

Security

All users have unique log in and password credentials and it is recommended passwords are changed at frequent intervals to maintain security of data. NMR will not change a user’s password to FarmAssist unless requested to do so by the user or a technical issue arises. In the event of a technical requirement to change the user’s password NMR will inform the user without delay. Access to data either as read only or read/write access is the responsibility of the user and at no time should his/her passwords or access be made available to third parties.

Marketing

NMR from time to time, will use user’s data to contact users regarding new services or products offered by NMR. Users have the right to Opt Out of such communication and may do so by emailing the NML office email to vetenquiries@nationalmilklabs.co.uk.

Privacy Statement

Access to data

NMR have provided the facility for all users to control access to their own data. It is the customer’s responsibility to control who has access to his/her data via FarmAssist. NMR will not provide access to data to any third party without the express permission of the customer and cannot be held liable for any losses arising from the misuse of the access system. Assistance with access setting may be obtained from NMR software support via email to vetenquiries@nationalmilklabds.co.uk or by calling the NML office 01902 749920.

Document Retention Policy

Any documents or images may be removed from the website after two years.

Data correction

Once a data record is authorised by the veterinary user, FarmAssist does not permit the user to make data corrections and any such correction can be reported by email to vetenquiries@nationalmilklabs.co.uk or by calling the NML office on 01902 749920. Once validated, errors will be corrected by NMR as soon as practicable and normally within 1-2 working days.

Issues Reporting

Any issues arising from the user of FarmAssist, including data quality errors must be reported to NMR via email to vetenquiries@nationalmilklabs.co.uk or calling the NML office on 01902 749920.

NMR copyright and intellectual property

NMR reserves the right to copyright and protect its intellectual property contained in or displayed in FarmAssist. Any reproduction, distribution, incorporation into other systems, hard copy or electronic reproduction, other than by users for herd management purposes of such material, may only be carried out with the written permission of NMR.

Use of FarmAssist

FarmAssist is designed for use by NMR veterinary users to assist producers for herd management purposes and also as a source of information for the wider dairy industry. All links to the site must be reasonable and carried out in a legal manner and not impact the reputation of NMR in any way. This expressly includes exposing NMR to illegal activity.

Misuse of FarmAssist

In using this service, you agree not to misuse the service provided in any way, including but not restricted to the following:

We reserve the right but do not assume the obligation to investigate any violation of misuse of the service provided.

If you become aware of any violations of this policy or have any concerns about the content, email them to the NML office vetenquiries@nationalmilklabs.co.uk. Any content which is unlawful should be reported direct to the police.

Electronic Linking to the FarmAssist website

Such links may only be set up for reasonable purposes and at no time should links be used in such a way as to imply patronage or business links between NMR and third parties or for illegal activity.

FarmAssist availability

NMR will endeavor to keep the FarmAssist web site open for the longest time possible however NMR reserves the right to take the site off line and forcibly logout users for essential maintenance or upgrading. These times will be kept to a minimum requirement in each circumstance.

FarmAssist Changes

From time to time NMR will make changes to FarmAssist, either in content or to improve the user experience, which are believed to be in the interests of all customers. NMR is not obliged to make such changes but will endeavor to keep information current and relevant.
